Robot Icebreaker Activity!

While sorting through my Google Drive I found this presentation I used as a lesson to kick start a unit about robots and artificial intelligence! It includes a 'Stand Your Ground' activity, where students stand if they agree with a statement and sit if they disagree - this a great activity for starting conversation and debate! It also introduces them to some pretty cool robots at the start, and then ends by looking as Isaac Asimov's "Three Laws of Robotics"!

ENJOY!

Ms. Dutton,

I like your IceBreaker for Robotics. This is a good lesson for my kids 2nd - 6th for the first week. Could you send me a Google share for billy.causey@desotoisd.org. I also would like to get more info from you as time permits about your Robotics program. My work email is billy.causey@desotoisd.org. I'm trying to develop a program from the ground up. Do you have curriculum? A Scope and Sequence. A method. Anything you could share would be appreciated. Again, I'm new to this.
